  • ¼ ounce powdered or granulated yeast
  • 4 tablespoons warm water

Method

Step 1. Mix yeast with warm water and milk and leave for 5 minutes. Sift flour, sugar and salt into a warm mixing bowl. Beat eggs with vanilla essence. Make a well in the centre, add yeast mixture, then the beaten eggs, little by little, mixing the soft, sticky dough very lightly with your hand.
