Boiled Peanuts

I often think no truly Southern garden is complete without peanuts. They grow quickly and easily, and they add nitrogen to the soil, protein to the diet, and fun for the children, who always enjoy digging in the dirt to find the peanuts left behind when you pull up the blooming plants.
