WHERE THIS DOG DIFFERS FROM MOST IS IN THE USE OF A PORK AND BEEF sausage rather than a frankfurter, making it a handful and a mouthful. It’s smoked and charred, then topped with a regionally specilc meat sauce, like many of the chili dogs of the northeastern United States, and lnished with a generous helping of mustard and onions.
