IT’S NO MISTAKE THAT COMPLETO (PRONOUNCED COM-PLAY-TO) TRANSLATES as “complete.” In Chile, frankfurters are topped to the brim with a range of condiments and ingredients, including avocado, potatoes, sauerkraut, various sauces, and more. These loaded dogs come in myriad variations, all of which put many of North America’s dogs to shame. Still, it’s a bit tamer than some of Brazil’s dogs (see pages 89 and 90).
