These smooth, creamy truffles taste like a specialty confection but are a snap to make (plus, you can make them in advance and store them in the refrigerator). Coconut milk imparts the faintest hint of tropical flavor, and peppermint adds a refreshing note.

  • bittersweet chocolate, 6 oz (185 g), finely chopped

  1. Place chopped chocolate in a large heatproof bowl. In a small saucepan, bring coconut milk to a simmer. Pour coconut milk over chocolate and stir gently with a heatproof spatula until chocolate is melted and smooth.
