  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Method

In a medium bowl, beat the butter with a wooden spoon until smooth. Stir in the lemon juice, parsley, and shallot. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Wrap and refrigerate or freeze, following the instructions for compound butters.
