  • About

There’s really no need to make clafoutis only in summer with cherries. The full, creamy flavor of the custard goes really well with wintry ingredients. It’s also a dessert that can be made in a snap, and most of the time with ingredients you already have on hand.

Ingredients

  • 2 handfuls of cherries or other dried or fresh fruits of your choice
  • something alcoholic (if using dried fruits)
  • 3

Method

Let the dried fruit soak in the spirit or liqueur for 30 minutes, or dice the fresh fruit.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Butter various small baking dishes (or 1 large one) generously with butter. You can use all kinds of sizes, as long as they have a total volume
