This spicy broth filled with chopped vegetables is a most unusual gazpacho, a wonderful contrast of spicy hot and icy cold. Half the ingredients are puréed and half are left in chunks for an exciting and complex texture.
Serve preceding a hearty south-of-the-border menu, with Arroz con Pollo (minus the chicken) and the surprisingly wonderful combination of grilled seafood and earthy Black Bean Chili.
