Chocolate Chip Cookies

One day when I was home in Vermont hanging with my mom, she suggested I try a chocolate chip cookie recipe from Cook’s Illustrated, and, my god, it blew me away. Cookies aren’t the most difficult thing to bake, but these were jaw-droppingly delicious the very first time. I tweaked a few things here and there to suit my taste, and I hope you like the results.
