Pour this scrumptious sauce over Banana-Walnut Pancakes or Tutti Frutti Ice Cream.


  • 2 cups (500 ml) fresh or frozen blueberries or raspberries

Put the berries and water in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Stir the cornstarch mixture, then stir it into the simmering berries. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute. Serve warm or cold.
