The Matcha Tart is one of my signature desserts. The inspiration came from the mighty chocolate fondant, a worldwide phenomenon that you’ve seen a thousand times to varying degrees of success on every cooking show you’ve ever watched. Instead of chocolate, I tried green tea as it is one of the most identifiable ingredients in Asian desserts.
