  • About

This is a simple chocolate spread you can put on bread. It’s also great on a just-cooked plain pizza base, scattered with toasted hazelnuts (see Sweet pizza).

Ingredients

  • 70 g ( oz) butter
  • 4 tablespoons milk

Method

Set up a bain marie. Put the butter, milk and chocolate in the bowl. When it starts melting add the sugar, stirring until it is thick and smooth. Cool. It will keep in a closed jar in a cool place for about 10 days.
