This is about as meaty as a veggie burger can get. Once you try this burger laced with spices and tasty black beans, you’ll have a hard time going back to frozen veggie burgers. Even as a meat eater, I eat this burger every chance I can get. It’s just plain delicious.

These burgers can be a bit fragile. I highly recommend cooking them in a skillet the first time you make them. If you don’t have a lot of grilling experience, they might fall apart when you flip them. If they are falling apart on you, add two more tablespoons oil and flour, and another one-quarter cup bread crumbs.
