  • About

These are traditionally eaten on Anzac day, 25th April, in Australia and New Zealand. They were originally made for the soldiers by their wives during the First World War and were sent over to them in food parcels while they were at the front. Very simple to make, they have a great texture reminiscent of one of my favourite shop-bought biscuits.
