The Naam in Vancouver boasts a spectacular beet burger served with sesame-turmeric oven fries and a rich yet balanced miso sauce we just had to replicate. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this sauce works best when it’s completely oil-free! It has more of a kick than traditional gravy, but you can scale down the sweetness and intensity by using half the maple syrup and nutritional yeast.
