Aloo Chops

These delicious little breadcrumbed croquettes come in many forms in India and are very much the street-food vendors’ favourite. Always deep-fried and utterly essential to life! Aloo chops dispense with any meat component and are, quite simply, mashed potato balls spiked with green chilli. I love to serve them with Nisha’s Green Chutney on the side for dipping and a raita works perfectly, too, such as the Beetroot Raita.<
