This is essentially your classic fried rice, made completely plant-based, with some bold pick-ups from myself. You can use any veg you fancy, but make sure you chop these as small as you possibly can.

Ingredients

  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2

Method

  1. Slice up the spring onions. Deseed the red pepper and chop the garlic, ginger and red pepper into tiny pieces. Fry the spring onions and red pepper in a large frying pan with a drizzle of oil for a few minutes on a medium-high heat. Once golden, chuck in the garlic, ginger and Chinese five-spice.
  2. In a lovely little bowl, mix the soy sauce, tahini and hot water
