Try this ice-cream with Chocolate Sauce and warm pancakes.
First you need to make the vanilla ice-cream base. Once made and still warm, peel and chop the bananas and toss them in the lemon juice to help them keep their colour. Then add them to the base. This can now be blitzed in a food processor and then pushed through a sieve. Stir in the liqueur, if using. The ice-cream can now be finished in an ice-cream machine, then frozen.
