This is a great Christmas pudding alternative to surprise your guests. It eats really well on its own or as an accompaniment to a tart or flan. The other great way to use this recipe is to make it from your left-over pudding, turning it into a new dish.
For this recipe I’m using a home-made custard as the base, but here is a quick and simple alternative: if you buy a 450 g (1 lb) Christmas pudding and just chop it all up, then stir it into two tins of ready-made custard you have an
