An epic summer cake that is perfect for afternoon tea with bubbly wine and fresh blueberries.

  • Store the cake at room temperature in an airtight container. It will keep for four to five days.
  • This freezes well, wrapped up in some clingfilm. Unwrap and put on a rack to defrost to stop it going soggy.
