This recipe is a twist on the traditional acai cup, using blueberries instead of acai berries.


  • 300 g (10½ oz) frozen banana
  • 300 g (10½ oz) frozen blueberries
  • 120 g ( oz) avocado
  • tablespoons maple syrup, honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 60 ml (2 fl oz/¼ cup) water


The Mix

Blend all the ingredients together in a food processor or blender. If the frozen fruit is too hard, let it thaw for a few minutes before blending. If you don’t have a food processor, you could mash everything up with a fork for a chunkier version. Serve like a frozen yoghurt with toppings such as fresh fruit and granola.
