Rappie Pie (Rapure) with Clams

This is an Acadian dish which survives strongly in Prince Edward Island. I learned in Halifax that when students from P.E.I. come back for the start of the university term they will bring some rappie pie with them and offer portions to favoured professors and lecturers.
