This dish is traditionally served on Christmas Eve in the Valle del Cordevole in the Dolomites. I tasted it in the town of Vittorio Veneto a bit further south. Vittorio Veneto used to be known as Ceneda and was the birthplace of one of the most fascinating characters in musical history.
