Chevdo is a Gujarāti word that refers to a crunchy snack that is universal across India. Each region of India has its own version, with names like namkeen or chivdā in the north, and mixture in the south. Some versions are even named after their region of origin, such as Bombay Mix and Nadiyādi Bhusu. Many immigrants from India to the United States have developed a chevdo made from American breakfast cereals (see Tip), and this one is my mom’s version
