Ruby red on top, and crystal clear at the bottom, this little cup of tea appears on the breakfast table like a magic token straight from some fairyland. Or at least this is how I saw it when my grandmother used to make it for me and my cousins on Friday mornings, if we had stayed at her place the night before. She was not the type of grandmother who would coddle her grandchildren, but this was her little something special for us tiny ones back then.
