Method

Place a non-stick frying pan over medium–high heat. While the pan is heating, mix the saffron infusion, hot water, salt and lemon juice in a bowl until the salt has dissolved.

When you can feel the heat of the pan with your palm held 10 cm (2 inches) above it, reduce the heat to medium and toast the almonds, constantly turning and flipping them so they don’t burn. After about 10 minutes
