  • 6 oz shortcrust pastry (this can be freshly made or deep frozen)
  • milk for glazing

Method

Find a pastry board, a rolling pin and a pastry brush. Find a 7–8" shallow pie plate and butter the inside. Turn on the oven heat to hot (400 °F or Gas No 6) and find a pair of oven gloves.
