  • lbs pork or beef cut into squares, or 2 lbs raw chicken joints

Method

Marinate the meat in the yoghurt, mixed with turmeric and a crushed clove of garlic, for an hour or more. Slice the onion and the whole clove of garlic and fry lightly in butter in a flameproof casserole without browning. Add the spices, fry a few minutes longer, than add the meat and its marinade. Season with a little salt.
