  • 1 lb fresh minced beef and lamb, mixed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 clove

Method

Put the meat, eggs, garlic, onion, herbs and seasonings in a bowl, and mix. Soften the bread, crusts removed, in milk or water. Squeeze dry and crumble into the mixture. Mix again thoroughly — with your hands is the easiest way. On a floured board roll into walnut sized balls and fry in a mixture of butter and oil for five to six minutes, turning frequently.
