Use an ordinary teacup that contains half a pint

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter (7

Method

Cream the sugar and butter together, add the egg, fruit, and then the flour, baking powder and spice. Moisten with milk, beating the mixture until it drops off the spoon. You may not need all the milk. Turn it into a greased basin, cover and steam for 2½ hours.
