  • cups grated coconut meat, firmly packed
  • cups molasses

Method

  1. Mix coconut and molasses in a caldero or heavy kettle. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, about 20 minutes, or until mixture separates from bottom and sides of kettle.
