This is a seasoned flour for coating vegetables or meat before frying, such as the crispy shallot rings used on the smoked eel tartine and cullen skink.


  • 175 g plain flour
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp


Combine all the ingredients and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
