Lentils and Rice

  • 1 cup (200 g) green lentils
  • 50 g butter


Cook the lentils.

To prepare the spicy tomato sauce

Place a saucepan over a high heat. Add the oil, garlic and chillies and cook for 3 minutes.

Add the tomatoes, water, vinegar, salt, cumin and paprika. Bring to the boil and lower the heat. Simmer for 30 minutes or
