John Utumapu is a real team player. He is always going out of his way to help everyone. John creates some great dishes at Ripe. This is one of our favourites.

By all means, play around with bean varieties – even tinned beans work well.

They taste even better accompanied by the spicy tomato relish, and are great served with “Cole” slaw from the Slaw Floor.
