  • 500 g floury potatoes, peeled and chopped into large pieces – Agria work well
  • 500 g kumara, peeled and chopped into large pieces


In a large saucepan cover the potatoes, kumara and garlic with water.

Bring to the boil and cook for 15-20 minutes until soft. Drain well and mash with a good old fashioned masher. Add the butter, cream, salt and pepper.

Fold the fresh herbs in just before serving.
