  • About

When you press a “thumbprint” into the balls of dough, try to keep a slightly raised edge around the center. This will prevent the preserves from leaking out during baking. Chopped almonds are always in my pantry and can be used instead of hazelnuts.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup <

Method

Heat the oven to 350° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.

Combine the flour and salt in a medium bowl and stir until well mixed.

Beat the butter in a large mixer bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.
