pancake ballsEasy
By Pat Sinclair
Published 2011
To prepare these Danish pancake balls you need a special pan with 7 rounded cups (see Sources). Most aebleskiver pans are made of cast iron or heavy cast aluminum. Traditionally a knitting needle is used to turn the balls as they cook and I find it easiest. You can also use a wooden skewer. The secret to round balls is to turn several times before the batter is completely cooked.
