I love sweet potato fries, so I usually make them in large batches. Often, I’ll sprinkle them with red chili flakes and a pinch of flaky sea salt for a more concentrated flavor in each bite. The creamy and fresh-tasting basil sauce makes a tasty counterpoint.
Combine the yogurt, basil, scallions, avocado, chile, lime juice, peppercorns, salt, and water in a blender and pulse on high speed until smooth and uniform. Taste and adjust the seasoning, if necessary. You can add more water if you want the sauce a little thinner. Transfer to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerat
