Fatoush Salad
- 1 large whole wheat pita bread loaf
- 1 long seedless cucumber or 3 pickling cucumbers
Method
- Open and cut the pita bread into ½-inch-squares and toast under the broiler, or in the oven.
- Combine all the ingredients for the salad in a serving bowl and set aside.
- To make the salad dressing, thoroughly mix all the salad dressing ingredients.
- Just before serving, pour the dressing over the salad, toss well and adjust seasoning to taste.<
