Marinade

  • 1 red onion, sliced paper thin against the grain
  • ¾ cup/180 mL lime juice

Method

  1. Combine the onion, lime juice, chili-garlic paste, fish sauce, garlic, and sugar to form a marinade.
  2. Slice the beef into strips about 2 in/5 cm in girth and sear in a skillet or on a grill until well browned on all sides, 1 to 2 minutes.
