  • 12 slices French bread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon

Method

Preheat the broiler. Toast the bread slices under the broiler until lightly browned. Rub olive oil on one side of each slice of toasted bread and sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Layer one slice of ham on each piece of bread and top with a layer of cherry tomatoes and some of the Parmesan cheese. Return to the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes to melt the cheese, then serve immediately.
