Good, tasty bacon is all about the tight balance of flavours created by the curing, the quality of the meat and how the smoking is done. Picking the right product is important. If you’re chopping your bacon into bits, fresh is always so much better than packaged, which is often overly salty and of poor quality.

  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) canola oil

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
