  • 1 pound Chinese turnips (lor bok), peeled, cut into ¾-inch pieces, sliced, and julienned
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine salt, sugar, sesame oil, coriander, and white pepper. Marinate turnips in this liquid for 6 hours. Drain off liquid and set the turnips aside.

  2. Prepare Pastry Dough, and upon the third rolling out of the pastry (after folding 3 times) roll out the dough to form a 10- by 9-inch rectangle. Roll this up to create a 10-inch-long sausage
