By no means is this a classic pizza in any way, shape, or form, but rather a throwback to a breakfast dish I grew up with. Once I started to get comfortable in the kitchen, I would make breakfast on Sundays, and this “pizza” toast was in constant rotation. It’s the sauce that makes it perfect.

Preheat the oven to 350°F [177°C]. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set a wire rack on top.
