Hot Honeycomb Candy

Honeycomb candy (also called cinder toffee) is a marvel of science and ingenuity, and it’s very easy and fun to make. I’ve added a pinch of cayenne to give it a little kick of heat. You might notice some darker brown spots; these are normal, indicating greater caramelization wherever the baking soda is a little more concentrated, so the pH is higher.
