  • About

Turkish salad to us is not Turkish and it is not a salad it’s really more of a relish, usually found on falafel stands around Israel. It is sweet, a little spicy, and very piquant. It makes a good complement to crudités and fritters, or can be served with tortillas or a slice of grilled haloumi.

Ingredients

  • red peppers 5
  • green peppers 2
  • red chilli 1, finely chopped

Method

  1. To roast and skin the red peppers, preheat the oven to 220°C/425°F/gas mark 7. Oil the peppers lightly and roast them for 15 minutes
