  • 250 g akub, thorns removed
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon


  • remove the stems from the akub flowers & place the whole stems and flowers in a large saucepan full of cold water
  • bring to the boil & cook on a gentle heat for 15-20 minutes until soft, then drain & refresh under cold water & put aside to cool
