Whip up this stir-fry as soon as fresh asparagus comes into the market. It’s very quick to prepare and makes a beautiful appetizer or side vegetable.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 ta

Method

  1. Cut off the top 2 inches of the asparagus. Reserve the stems for another use.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a wok or a large skillet until quite hot. Add the asparagus tips and cook, over medium heat, tossing frequently, for 3 minutes.
