This is a great dish if you wish to increase your oily fish intake during the week without spending a fortune on fresh fish. Sardines are considered a more sustainable choice than some other seafood. You can get some really delicious tinned or jarred sardines nowadays but if you don’t like sardines, you could swap them for smoked mackerel, fresh salmon, or occasionally tinned or jarred tuna instead.
