Ingredients
- 2 cups raw cashews, peanuts or blanched whole almonds, or all mixed together
- ½ tsp salt
Method
- Rub the oil into the nuts and roast in the oven (at medium temperature – 325°F, 170°C, gas mark 3) until light brown – about six to eight minutes.
- Remove and drain on thick sheets of kitchen paper.
- While the nuts are still hot, mix in the chilli powder and other flavourings.
- Cool and store in airtight containers.
